The story revolves round an ordinary middle aged house wife. She is a traditional, docile and balanced lady, who respects her husband and loves her children. By sheer necessity she learns to operate the computer and slowly start spending a lot of time on the net. She begins with advising her pregnant daughter who is in the U.S. and slowly helps her friends in solving their problems using her common sense and experience.

Her daughter-in-law sensing her growing popularity designs a web site in her name called “AMMAMMA.com”.

Several Telugus world over start pouring their problems, anxieties and queries into the web site and Ammamma gives them her valuable suggestions and solutions. She becomes a larger than life figure as her web site gains immense popularity. At this stage her husband comes to know about the web-site and his ego is badly heart. He also cannot digest her new found celebrity status and this leads to a rift between the couple. Ammamma is invited to U.S for a felicitation by a popular Telugu association. After she leaves a change is brought about in Venkat Rao and how the couple reconcile forms the rest of the story.
